Ask at least one value proposition

Participating in Regional Conference Calls
• Hopefully you are having them each month – if
not, ask your Global Steering Committee member
to do so
• If you can’t make it, have another Board member
make the call
• ALWAYS ask before the phone call ends if anyone
has had any good speakers (and get contact info
on call if they have)
• ALWAYS ask what they have coming up (and then
decide whether to promote)
Extending Offers to Serve on Executive Committee
• Have position title and job description well
down before extending the offer
• Ask them to serve for at least X years.
• Advise them of meetings and responsibilities.
• Give them a sheet that lays these things out.
• Advice on calling president-elects.
Liaison with Advisory Board
• Have at least 7 and no more than 13 Board members
• Try to get at least one from each walk of life (finance,
legal, CEO, education, Church, entrepreneur, pillar)
• Meet with them at least once a year
• Ask them to get at least one speaker and introduce
them each year
• Ask them to serve for at least X years
• Ask them if they would be willing to find their
replacement.
