Hebrews 10:26-31KJV
26
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the
knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice
for sins,27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and
fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.28 He
that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or
three witnesses:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose
ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot
the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done
despite unto the Spirit of grace?30 For we know him that
hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense,
saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his
people.31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the
living God.
Pride comes in all sizes and colors. It is a multi faceted sin,
that attempts to reflect God in many ways, but a close look will
prove it to be counterfeit. A sham, a zircon among diamonds, a
half-hearted attempt to honor the One who shed His blood for
our sins.
The Devil wants you to believe pride is something that is
grotesquely prominent in people. So much so that it is easy to
identify and say “I’m not like that.”
But the Biblical definition is much the same as Adultery.
Adultery is; loving something more and instead of God.
Pride is, knowing it’s wrong to do so and then doing it anyway.
This is why God sent Prophets to Israel.

Do we really understand the severity of the simplest of sins?

Not to tell them something they didn’t know, but to remind them
 They were going to be punished
 Why they were being punished.
 Why their punishment was just.
This applies to everyone who is and claims to be a Christian
today.
My service before the Lord is to tell His people what will
happen:
 If they turn their eyes away from the Cross.
 If they close their ears to the truth of the Word.
 If they do the things that the Word teaches them not to.
 If they neglect to do the things the Word teaches to do.
This is what modern day prophecy is.
Telling the truth to Gods people according to the Word that is
already written, so when your life stinks, you will have no one
to blame but yourself!
However;
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you
to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the
temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to
bear it.

God also repeated His promise of health and safety and
prosperity through His prophets, if and when they would return
to Him just as I am called to do by His Word.
2 Chronicles 7:14
14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive
their sin, and will heal their land.
Humility is confession
 That’s when a person says “I have not been walking where
I need to, how I need to, and when I need to”
Submission is repentance.
 That’s when you actually do something about it.
 That’s when you get in line with the Word.
 That’s when God hears from heaven.
 That’s when He will forgive your sin.
 That’s when everything will be healed.
No more stench from an unhealthy, unholy life.
I have delivered the truth to you from the Word of God.
Now what are you going to do?

“Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again,
“The LORD will judge His people.”---- It is a fearful thing to
fall into the hands of the living God.
