Introduction (6pts)
a. Purpose: Short statement, explaining what can be learned from lab. 1pt
b. Background- 2 paragraphs 5 sentences each
P1: Explain plant and what it needs to grow and cite source (Author, Date) 1pt

P3: Cite sources in both paragraphs (Author, Date) 1 pt
c. Hypothesis- State what you anticipate will happen (1pt) and explain why citing your research (1pt)
Procedure (8pts)
a. Materials- List ALL materials and instruments used for lab (1pt_
b. Procedure- Step by step in great detail how you set up the experiment and measure/collect data (2 pts)

Data Analysis (10 pts)
c. Work shown on all calculations for rate of growth per day and % germination (2 pts)

e. Bar Graphs- one for % germination, one for rate of growth per day (6 pts total)
i. Complete title on graph- 1 pt for each

iii. Distinction between control and experimental and legend- 1 pt for each

e. Explain how to improve upon all errors and limitations realistically
Bibliography- Cite all sources used in background MLA format. No Wikipedia, automatic zero points if it is used. 3 pts
