Siemens are currently recruiting Mechanical, Electrical /

Electronic and Data engineering graduates to start employment in October 2015, working in a rotational programme. The ideal candidate for this role will have a keen interest in the energy and renewables energy market.

This is a very exciting opportunity for engineering graduates to gain a unique understanding of the Siemens power divisions. The successful candidate will participate in a rotation programme which will expose them to areas of the various divisions within Siemens over a two year period, each placement will last 6 months.

What are my responsibilities?

Undertake research as required within designated areas to inform senior management and guide strategic decision making which may affect the organisation

Conduct detailed data / information analysis and using these findings, develop and present recommendations to senior management

Independently manage small business improvements, using Siemens and industry recognised project management process

Manage the implementation of new company initiatives and policies

Manage and co-ordinate Siemens presence at events such as exhibitions, to ensure the company is represented appropriately

Support the company key account management process and teams

Support the development of new opportunities and projects

Work as part of the team in outages and other service activities

What do I need to qualify for this job?

You must be studying towards, or have completed an

Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering degree with a minimum of a 2:2 or above

The ideal candidate will have some business experience to compliment their academic achievements

What else do I need to know?

As well as an in-house induction and Career

Development Programme, you will take part in the national Siemens Graduate Development Programme.

This consists of a series of modules covering the personal skills you will need at this stage in your career.

You will be assigned a mentor from within the business who will coach you in developing and working within a complex organisation. You will also receive job specific training and development.
