GGGI is an international organization dedicated to supporting developing and
emerging countries to meet their development and growth objectives by exploring
and implementing green growth plans that simultaneously target key economic and
environmental objectives; including poverty reduction, job creation and social
inclusion, as well as mitigation and adaptation to climate change, biodiversity loss
and energy and water security.
GGGI’s theory of change leads it to focus on three major outcomes: adoption and
implementation of rigorous green growth plans that form the core of national and
provincial economic development strategies; research which builds a strong
theoretical and empirical basis for green growth, while providing concrete options
and guidance for policymakers; and public-private partnerships that strengthen
incentives for the scaling of resource-efficient investment, innovation and practice as
well as for the engagement of companies in the implementation of national and
subnational green growth plans.
The roles present a fantastic opportunity to work with talented, dynamic and driven
individuals on projects at the cutting edge of economic development and
sustainability.
