GRADE FIRST AID
 Learning is ongoing, and doesn’t end with a test! A great amount
of learning takes place in error analysis. For that reason, “GFA” is
hugely beneficial and improves a student’s grade.
 Most tests/quizzes are eligible for GFA
 Re-do all missed problems, get a parent signature, and attach to
original test/quiz. GFA forms available.
THURSDAY FOLDERS
 Will be sent home beginning the 2nd week of school
 As you review papers, it’s recommended that you separate any papers
that you’d like your child to complete for “GFA” that weekend
 With your child, check grades online and record % for each subject
 Record pages for reading log requirement
 Monitor missing work through ESPRI
 If no internet access is available, your child can use class computers
before/after school or during lunch on any day
PACK PLANNER
 An important way to be active in your child’s education is to check
the PACK Planner and teacher website, in comparison with his/her
completed homework, nightly!
 1st page – read, tear out, and return with 1st day packet
 E-textbook codes, p. 8
 Usernames and passwords, p. 27
 School policies/procedures and programs and Standards
SUPPLIES
 2-pocket folders with 3-prongs (preferably plastic)
 Spiral notebooks for math journals
A complete list is provided in your 1st day packet! It is a suggested
supply list. It’s recommended to keep extra folders and journals at
home to be replenished throughout the year.
