BIOLOGY 12 COURSE OUTLINE
Welcome to Biology 12! This course includes material covering general
processes of science, cell biology, and human biology.
TEXTBOOK: INQUIRY INTO LIFE (10th edition), Sylvia Mader
CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS:
1. Attend class regularly and be on time. Arriving late is disruptive and you
will miss important information given at the beginning of class.
2. Bring required materials to class. It is important that you bring your
textbook to every class. Also, don’t be that person who always has to
borrow a pen or a piece of paper. Come prepared and ready to learn.

not be accepted and missing assignments will require completion on Goal Day.
4. Prepare thoroughly for every test. If you know that you will be away for a
test or quiz, please inform Ms. Versteeg ahead of time. If an unexpected
