Registering for New York State Teacher Certification Exams
(NYSTCE)
Students graduating in May 2014 and after will take
the following certification exams:
 Academic Literacy Skills Test (ALST)
 Revised Content Specialty Test (CST)
 Educating All Students Test (EAS)
 Teacher Portfolio Assessment (edTPA)
***Please Note***
New York State is making a gradual transition towards
a computer- only testing system. Computer-based
tests are offered Monday-Saturday at approved testing
sites. Seating is limited and you must plan accordingly.
Sign up as soon as possible to guarantee yourself a
seat for the dates you desire.
Steps to sign up for tests:
 If you have not created a TEACH account, do so now
 At the login window, login with your TEACH account
