• Total numbers are ~250 per year (not unique), most of
whom are supported by Chandra grants
• Example Breakdown, 2005: 49 UG, 110 PG, 82 PD
 PhDs using Chandra data, up to 2007: 120 PhDs worldwide
(lower limit), average of 20 per year
 Chandra serves as a key training ground for young scientists
and provides funding to promote US-based training
