What is the LSAMP Program?
 One of the four Alliance program funded by
the National Science Foundation.




 Increase the quantity and quality of students
in Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics field. (STEM field)
 Encourages students to enroll and complete
baccalaureate programs in STEM fields and
continue on to graduate studies.

Service and Privileges

alliance participants.
Earning stipends for tutoring, leading study groups, doing
research, and community services.
Gaining research experiences in a specific field of interest
in faculty laboratories.
Participating in the national LSAMP conferences.
