I. Introduction:
A. Course Description: This course focuses on the study of the human body,
including nutrition concepts, digestive system, circulatory system, nervous
system, and the reproductive system. Other major concepts addressed in this
course include plant structure, animal structure, tissues, organs, and systems.
B. Prerequisites: Biology I
C. Materials: classroom set of texts; notebook/paper, pencils or pen
D. Course Policies:
a. Grading:
1.Grading: Tests—50%
2.Lab Reports—20%

4.Writing Activities—10%
5. Student Participation points—10%
b. Homework: Students will be given time in class on most days to begin
assignments. Anything not completed is expected to be finished as
homework.
c. Absences/Makeup: Students are expected to make-up missed work
due to excused absences.
