1. Topic: Capital Letters
2. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
2.1 state the eight categories of which capital letters
have to be used.
2.2 use capital letters in a sentence appropriately.
3. Class: P.6
4. Pre-requisite: Students should:
4.1 be able to use capital letters at the beginning
of the first word in a sentence.
4.2 have the basic idea of using capital letters on
some of the categories.

9. Procedures:
9.1 Motivation:
9.1.1 Teacher writes a sentence (without capitals) on the
blackboard.
9.1.2 Teacher asks students to read the sentences.
9.1.3 Teacher asks students what is wrong with the sentence.
9.2 Development:
9.2.1 Teacher presents the material (Power Point) with the
help of the computer.
9.2.2 T pauses when completing a category.
9.2.3 T shows a sentence without capital letters on the
screen.
9.2.4 Students have to change certain letters into capitals
where necessary and write the answers on their
exercise books.
9.2.5 T shows the correct answers on the projector.
9.3 Reinforcement:
9.3.1 Students have to finish worksheets relating to what they
have just learnt.
9.3.2 Students exchanges their worksheets and check the
answers.
9.4 Conclusion:
9.4.1 T asks students to state the eight categories
verbally again without the help of the Power Point
material.
