'10-4' is a colloquialism meaning 'I acknowledge' derived from brevity codes in use by CB
radio operators as well as law enforcement agencies around the world. Two of the
meanings for “acknowledge” are "to express gratitude for” and "to make known the receipt
of." My dear mother died on 10-4-15. She had been like an angel to my family, and
she always did her best to watch over us. Shortly after her death, I asked my brother if he
had realized that she died on 10-4 like the CB radio code, and he had realized it. My
family and I definitely want to express gratitude to God for allowing Margaret R. Boothe to
live 85 years. I personally feel that her 10-4 death is kind of like a sign from God making
known to me his receipt of my mother in heaven. Although I'm not half the angel she was,
because I have accepted Jesus as my Saviour, I will still see Mom again in heaven one
day!
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for angelic mothers.
