Skill Matrix:
Must have Expert (8 years) experience skills and experience as follows:
1. IBM WebSphere Application Server (Network Deployment Edition)
2. Scripting for WebSphere Application Server and Continuous Integration
Environments (Jython, Python, Powershell, etc.)
3. Experience as a lead Java programmer in charge of software projects and
responsible for the implementation and operations through various systems
development lifecycles.
4. Experience designing, planning, and implementing Service Oriented
Architectures based on IBM Technologies.
In addition, L&I prefers Contractor staff also have the following skills
and experience:
1. Experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting IBM
WebSphere Products.
2. Experience with securing network architectures (i.e., DMZ, private/public
VLANs, DNS)
3. Experience with WebSphere MQ messaging.
4. Experience with IBM WebSphere Business Process Manager
5. Experience with IBM Integration Designer
6. Experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager
7. Experience with IBM Datapower
8. IBM Rational Application Developer
9. Experience integrating WebSphere Portal Server V 8.x within a SOA
environment.
10. Experience supporting developers using Eclipse based toolsets.
11. Experience working with IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP, IBM Portal, etc.
12. Experience implementing IBM’s Golden Topology for Service Oriented
Architectures.
13. Experienced working with Relational Databases, SQL query
optimization, and SQL Profiler
14. Experienced working with Integrated Development Environments
15. Experience implementing Service Oriented Architectures, Enterprise
Application Integration, and Enterprise Applications Service Bus.
16. Experience with Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2,
Windows 7, 8 implementation, administration, and troubleshooting
17. Experience with VMware ESXi, VSphere 5.X, Microsoft Hyper-V, or
any hypervisor system
18. Experience with Source/object control methods and systems, e.g.,
Subversion, Visual Studio Team System 2008/2012, etc.
19. Experience with MS Visual Studio Development Suites to include: .NET
Frameworks 2.0-4.5+; ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB Script, JavaScript, HTML,
XML, Visual Studio 2008, and 2012
20. Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as it
relates to Application Performance.
