and parts of skeletal system. Common disorders. Interrelationship to other systems.
Digestion: Location, function, specialized parts and processes used by digestive
organs. Location and process of digesting fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
Knowledge of some common digestive system problems.
Circulation: Blood types, parts of blood, path of blood, measuring your heart’s fitness,
parts of the heart and function of blood vessels.
Respiratory: Understanding of the physics of breathing and how the parts of the
respiratory system assist in the exchange of gases. Causes and problems associated
with natural disorders - asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, along with diseases and loss of
function associated with smoking.
Follow a piece of bread from the moment you look at it through digestion, into the
circulatory system, into a cell, until you exhale the waste products. (50 points)
