We will send you a weekly email with lesson summaries for all the classes.
Please refer to your child's class session.
Parents: please make sure that your kid/kids bring their file every
Friday as it is needed to save the class’s work in.
Safa Class: Boys and Girls (4-5 years)
**Qur’an:
 The children learned the first 2 Ayahs from the new Surah ‫ ال كوث ر‬Al-Kawthar.
 Teacher Omaima revised all the Surahs that have been given during the last
term. The old Surahs are: ‫الفاتحة‬Al-Fatiha, ‫ الناس‬Al-Nass, ‫ اإلخالص‬Al-Ikhlas and
Surah ‫ الفلق‬Al-Falaq
 Please keep working with your children on the learning and understanding of
these Surahs, so they don’t forget them.
 Please use the Quran apps that are mentioned in the weekly parent’s tasks to
help your children learn Quran.
**Arabic Language Session:
 Teacher Omaima has added 2 new alphabets from the Arabic alphabets; ‫ ظ‬,
‫ط‬
 The words that have been given as examples:‫ ظرف‬,‫ ظبي‬,‫ طماطم‬,‫ قطار‬,‫طائرة‬, in
English respectively: envelop, deer, tomatoes, train and aeroplane
 The children have been given several words in Arabic as examples.
 The letters so far are: ‫أ‬,‫ب‬,‫ت‬,‫ث‬, ‫ج‬,‫ح‬, ,‫ خ‬, ‫ ش‬,‫س‬,‫ ز‬,‫ ر‬,‫ذ‬,‫د‬,
‫ ظ‬,‫ ط‬,‫ص‬,‫ض‬
**Activities:
 The children listened to the Alphabet song to learn the sounding from Alif



to Khaa.
They coloured and decorated an envelope as an activity.
Also they coloured the aeroplane and practised writing the new alphabets.
Teacher Batool told the children a story about before home time which is
about how to say (‫ بسم هللا‬Bismillah )everywhere and at any time when we
start to do anything.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please make sure that your child spends time writing and practising the
Arabic alphabet letters that they have already learnt and try to highlight them
when they read Qur’an as well for practise.
 Please read Quran with your child everyday for at least 10 minutes.
 Please make sure that your child practises and listens to all Surahs they have
learnt so far.
 Work with them to learn saying and Arabic writing of (‫ )بسم هللا‬Bismillah ( ‫الحمد‬
‫ )هلل‬al-hamdulillah) )‫ )سبحان هللا‬subhaan Allah,)‫ ( هللا أكبر‬Allahu akbar and ‫( ال إله إال‬
)‫ هللا‬la ilaha illAllah.
 For more information and to revise for your kids, I recommend referring to
the Al-Nabulsi’ encyclopaedia of Islamic Science. This website is available in
many different languages which makes it really helpful.
 For those students whose tongue is not Arabic, I recommend that you
download the Ayat (‫ )آيات‬App or ’’The Quran House’’ app if you want your
children to enhance their Quran reading with Tajweed.

 Please try to read a bedtime story to your kids from Syrah or the Islamic

**Qur’an:
 Teacher Omaima first revised all the Surahs that have been given during the
last term. The old Surahs are: ‫ الزلزلة‬Al-Zalzalah Surah ‫الماعون‬Al-Maoon, ‫الفيل‬
Al-Feel.
 Teacher added the first 2 Ayahs from the new Surah ‫ ال م س د‬Al-Massad,
the children learnt the Surah with Tajweed.
 The children learnt about the story of this Surah.
 Please work with your child on learning and understanding these Surahs.

about the Prophet Mohammad’s immediate family and his year of birth.
 The children started to learn about the prophet Mohammad (SAW)
immediate family members and Nasab.
 The children learnt about the Prophet Mohammad’s year of birth and the
main event that happened in his year of birth.
 More information will be covered in the next lesson.
**Activities:

Noor Al- Islam: (7-9) years
**Quran:
 Teacher Faida revised Surah ‫ القدر‬Al-Qadr with the children.
 Teacher Faida started a new Surah last Friday Surah ‫ ( الهمزة‬Al-Humazah)so
please make sure that your children learn this Surah and revise all the old
Surahs that they have learnt so far.

 Teacher Faida covered with the children the lesson 7 from the curriculum




book which is about the Prophet Mohammad(SAW) Blessed birth
Also they learnt about his immediate family members.
They learnt about the year that prophet was born in.
The teacher covered the event of Al-feel year (Elephant year).
The children learnt about Al-Salawat Al-Ibrahimia, they practised writing it
and they have to learn off by heart at home as a home work.
**Activities:
 Teacher Faida told the children the story about the birth of the Prophet
Mohammad (SAW) and the Al-feel year in which the Prophet Mohammad was
born.
 The children worked on the activities in the book that related to the topic.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 The children have to revise all the Surahs ‫الماعون‬Al-Maoon Surah ‫ القدر‬Al-Qadr
 They have to practise the new Surah ‫ ( الهمزة‬Al-Humazah)
 Please make sure that your child practise and listen to the Surahs daily. This
will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation and accelerate their
memorising. Your child has to practise Quran everyday for at least 15
minutes.
 Children have to read more about the Prophet Mohammad’s birth story,
immediate relatives and about the story of theAl-feel year.
 They have to learn and memorise Al-Salawat Al-Ibrahimia, as they practised
and wrote it in the classroom. Please note that this is their home work for this
week.

Fetyan Al-Islam: Boys (8-11)
**The new teacher Bilal takes over the boys’ class.
Parents: please make sure that your kid/kids bring their file every
Friday as it is needed to save the class’s work in. Thank you.
**Qur'an:
 Sister Asmaa revised the first 9 Ayahs from Surah ‫ التكوير‬Surah (Al-Takweer).
 Teacher Asmaa gave the first 9 Ayahs from the Surah with Tajweed.
 They have to learn and memorise the new Ayahs with Tajweed at home every
day for at least 10/20 minutes+ to enable them to learn and memorise them
properly.
**Kalimah Tayyeba: (Islamic Studies)
 First, teacher Bilal recapped the previous lesson about the
importance of Whudu and Salat in the Muslim’s life.
 Then the home work has been checked.
 Teacher Bilal then covered the lesson 6 from the curriculum book which is
‫( أرك ا ن الوضوء ومبطالته‬Whudu pillars and its nullification( invalidation)
 Teacher Bilal covered the pillars of Whudu and how we could be properly
performed the pillars of Whudu.
 Things could invalidate the Whudu and when we should repeat Whudu.
 The children completed the activity related to this topic in the workbook.
 The children learnt the Dua’a after Whudu “ ً ‫أشهد أن ال إله إال هللا و أشهد أن محمدا‬
‫”رسول اللهم اللهم اجعلنا من التوابين و اجعلنا من المتطهرين‬
**Activities:
 Teacher Bilal told the children a story from the book about how it is very

important to perform Whudu and try to teach all the people around us
how to perform Whudu and Salat if they don’t know.
This will give us the rewards from Allah in life and hereafter each time this
person performs Whudu and Salat.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please encourage your child to truthfully perform ‫( صالة‬Salat,) read Quran and
do their remembrance of Allah.
 Work with them to learn and memorise the entire Surah Abasa with Tajweed.
 Please make sure that your children practise and listen to the Surah daily.
This will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation in order to
accelerate their memorising.
 Please ask your children to perform Whudu and Salat every day 5 times a day.
 It is important that the children learn the things that invalidate the Whudu.
 Learn the Dua’a after Whudu properly as this is their homework for this week.

Ahebaa Allah Class: Girls (10+)
**Qur'an:
 Sister Asmaa revised the first 9 Ayahs from the Surah ‫( التكوير‬Al-Takweer).
 More new 7 Ayahs have been given from the Surah with Tajweed until Ayah

16.
They have to learn and memorise the new Ayahs with Tajweed at home every
day for at least 10/20 minutes+ to enable them to learn and memorise them
properly.

 Teacher Asmaa explained the lesson 5 from the curriculum book “ the





deeds and the Intentions”
indeed the deeds are really judged by the sincere intentions
How the heart is the origin of the guidance and corruption and it is
responsible for our intentions whether they are good or bad.
Believers have to make always make the righteous intention to reach
Righteousness ( Salah).
Allah always judges us by our intentions.
The good intentions will lead us finally to the top of guidance and to
enter the paradise.
** The Stars in the Prophet’s Orbit:
Mus’ab Bin Umair
“Once Imaan(Belief) gets into a person’s heart, it makes him forget everything
else, whether wealth, luxury, family or life itself.”
 Teacher Nadia carried on the story about the companion Mus’ab Bin Umair.
 She explained more about his life and the main events during his life with the
Prophet Mohammad (SAW)
 The following issues have been covered in the lesson.
 Who is Mus‘ab Bin 'Umair?
 When? How he became a Muslim?
 What he looked like?
 What he sacrificed?
 How he served Islam?
 How did he support to the prophet Mohammad with his Da’waa to Islam and
his influence in the Islamic History.
 How did he die?
 How was he buried?
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please encourage your daughter to truthfully perform ‫( صالة‬Salat,) read Quran
and do their remembrance of Allah.
 Work with them to learn and memorise the entire Surah Abasa with Tajweed.
 Please make sure that your girls practise and listen to the Surah daily. This
will help them get the correct sounds and pronunciation in order to accelerate
their memorising.
 Girls have to read and learn more about the good intentions and how we
could do them and make our heart free of bad intentions and
 Also how we could think positively about our deeds as Allah will count on us
for our intentions.
 Please ask your daughter to do more reading about the bibliography of the
companion Mus’ab Bin Umair.
