President – Sharon Geier reviewed information from the
newsletter, noting that there was a change in our Ohio
Chapter by-laws, and that they are on the WCR Ohio web
site. Discussed fundraising projects: Door of Opportunity,
online shopping, today’s vendors. Talked about the G B
retreat in July. More info coming.
President Elect – Mary Ann Mills asked about the Ohio
Chapter web site; seems like everyone likes it. She talked
about going to the national web site, as well and the
webinar available there. She talked about the new leadership at the national level. She also talked
about attending chapter events, so send her info about your upcoming activities.
Treasurer’s Report – Ann Goss - Report is on line and audit was completed and books balanced.
Drawing at the end of the meeting; must be present to win.
Governor Report – Donna Allen – Said she went to Dayton, and Cincinnati. If you are not sending
info about your events already, be sure to send to Donna.

Bylaws - chair resigned

Education – Nancy Farkas – Mentioned program for today. For September, working on program
regarding the new RESPA.

Finance & Budget – Young Kim – Mentioned a correction on the budget. Posted online.

Marketing – Wendi Sheets – no report

National Focus – Barbara Lach – Told everyone we can submit 3 names to National for positions at
the national level. Contact Barbara if you know someone to consider.

Nominating – Christine Pappas – Asked if anyone has ideas for state leadership. If so, have name
and resume to Christine by July 15.

Strategic Planning – Joyce Goldsmith – not present

Ways & Means – Sarah Ford – Talked about the Door of Opportunity Raffle and the Lottery Tree.
First drawing for Lottery Tree will be later today. Going to do t-shirt online for sale, changing
every month. Pat talked about the other shirts we are going to be offering on line.

Vendors here today were: Tastefully Simple, Silpada Jewelry, Jewelry & Candles. Miche rep was
unable to make it.

Asked each chapter to have handout, have induction of new members and get members involved. Passed
out the list of non renewed members. Talked about Chris Reese running for OAR and the chapter voted to
support her.
Took a break for lunch and will reconvene after lunch…Presented Chris RPAC chair our check to support
RPAC
Newsletter
Debbie Stohl – Will be sending out the newsletter quarterly. Asked for info for
the newsletter and feedback on the last one that was sent out. Going to set up a new format for
registering for the meetings.
