 Definition of autocracy
 A government in which one person has uncontrolled or
unlimited authority over others the government or
power of an absolute monarch
 What is autocracy?
 Autocracy is a form of government where on person
holds unlimited power over others. They don’t have
laws, constitution or rules to go by they make all the
decisions

 Advantages to autocracy is decisions can be made
quickly and put into effect
 The power to rule is inherited or by military force

 Advantages to this form of government are autocratic style
is very effective when times are stressful
OLIGARCHY
 Definition of Oligarchy
 A small group of people having control of a country,
organization, or institution.
 What is Oligarchy
 Oligarchy which mean rule of the few is where few people
usually wealthy have control of a country and have few
people in their group.

 Some facts about oligarchy are that citizens can not vote.
They are ruled by rich people.
 Some country's that are ruled by oligarchy are North
Korea, Russia and Cuba

 Definition of Theocracy
 A deity is officially recognized as the civil Ruler and
official policy is governed by officials regarded as divinely
guided, or is pursuant to the doctrine of a particular
religion or religious group.

 A country that is ruled by religious leaders

 Definition of democracy
 A system of government by the whole population or all
the eligible members of a state, typically through elected
representatives.
 What is democracy?
 In democracy the government is elected by the peoples
votes. Everyone has a right to vote and has a chance to
have a say in who runs.
