Spiritual Emphasis:

Our Missions Program raised approximately $3000 this year. Down from our
average but still enough for us to be able to help support a Christian school in
Muslim dominated Indonesia.
 We assisted a student in Ethiopia with college expenses and have connected her
with the University of Kentucky School of Engineering to help her complete her
education.
 Our students assisted local mission efforts such as God’s Food Pantry, Sonrise
Chidren’s Ministry, AIM (Abortion Intervention Ministry), and Operation
Christmas Child.
Students at SCS are experiencing the meaning of Matthew 28:19-20 as our efforts serve people
locally, around the state & nation, and overseas.
Leadership:

We had visits from:
 Former Governor Mike Huckabee
 Congressman Hal Rogers
 Senator Rand Paul
We look forward to another interesting year in 2013-2014 as we expose our students to our
nation’s leaders such as those mentioned above and others we have hosted in the past:
Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer and Former First Lady Laura Bush.

Kentucky Christian Athletic Association, we captured KCAA State Championships in:
