fields like machine learning, machine translation, human-computer interaction
and robot. Its mission is to develop products in the field of natural language
processing, create company-wide tools and platforms, provide technology
support and lead exploratory technology research. NLP is ultimately working to
improve the efficiency of Baidu products and provide an intelligent core for the
development of the Baidu search engine and other products.
PS
Baidu’s Page Searching (PS) department supports the core searching services,
processes trillions of data, also connecting teams including Data Retrieving,
Massive Data Process, NLP, Machine Learning, Data Mining, etc. The mission
of PS is to provide the best Chinese SE and to let our user to reach the result
easier and faster. Service covers PC，mobile, tablet, TV, etc.
Work description:

-Strong background and practical experience in one or more of the following
areas: machine learning/artificial intelligence/data mining/natural language
processing/machine translation/information retrieval
-Experience coding in C/C++, deep understanding of data structure and
algorithm
-Practical experience in web-related machine learning applications would be a
plus
-Strong background in mass data processing, distributed computing or high
performance parallel computing would be a plus
