Note to Parents, please read:
Field Trip: To celebrate the end of testing for grades 3-5 we are having a school wide trip on Thursday, April 30th to see the movie
Monkey Kingdom at Regal Cinemas UA Court Street, 106 Court Street, Bklyn, NY 11201. The trip will cost $11.00 per student and
$11.00 for each chaperone. We will need at least three chaperones per class. Please let your child’s teacher know as soon as possible
if you can chaperone. Students must have a permission slip filled out in order to attend the trip. Please sign and return permission
slips as soon as possible.
Swim for Life Program: See back of HW sheet for details.
Student of the Month Assembly: Second grade will be hosting the Student of the Month Assembly on May 8 th. You are invited to
come see your children host the assembly as well as perform the poem, Second Grade Leaders.
Homework: Parents/Guardians must initial all homework and reading log daily. Students must fill out reading logs themselves. Please
remove all notices and old homework sheets from students’ homework folders once they are read.

•plastic bag to hold wet swim suits and towels after swimming
•separate swim bag to carry everything
*PLEASE NOTE: Swim days are instructional days. Students will need their
backpacks as well as their swim bags on swim days.
