Project Name : BEC / SEPA Project
Description / Background to Project
A major programme to centralise the various payments engines within the bank into one central function while making
all payments processes SEPA compliant.
Achievements - Project Deliveries:
 Designed a functional document / use case template which was used by all of the analysts in the programme.
 Undertook detailed FTE resource and cost requirement analysis to outline the requirements associated with the
increasing volume of payments. These figures were central in the cost / benefit analysis exercise for the SEPA
transition element of the programme
Project Name : MS Office Communicator Rollout
Description / Background to Project
A training programme was initiated for branches and departments around the country to provide guidance in the use
of MS Office Communicator, MS Outlook and other MS products to assist them in effectiveness of their working day.
Achievements - Project Deliveries:
 Development of MS Powerpoint training slides which become the standard for all trainers.
 Was co-author of a report outlining how the training model could be used to establish a more structured
relationship between the regional offices, branches and departments and the IT department.

Description / Background to Project
The group carried out a major overhaul of the functionality of the Bank of Ireland online banking systems to provide
enhance functional capability to domestic customer in RoI and UK with additional security features.
Achievements - Project Deliveries:
 Developed an estimation template which was used in assessing all aspects of the project initiation and change
cycle.
 Derived and presented a self service type structure which was used when planning the cost and timeline for the
rollout of online banking functionality to the UK operation.
 Proposed and documented the solution for security activation codes via mobile.
