How do I use Government/Constitutional vocabulary correctly?
Do Now Directions: For the past two weeks we have been learning about the founding of the American
government. We have been encountering difficult vocabulary. Try your best to match the term to the definition

In my own words it is important to use vocabulary words correctly because …
Today we are going to spend the period learning about the key vocabulary words for this unit. We will be
using these words when we are in 10th grade US Government so it is imperative (important) that we fully
understand their meaning now. We will also spend a few minuets reviewing the structure of the
Constitution so that when we dive into reading the Constitution tomorrow we understand the language
and the structure!
