PWCS History and Social Science Textbook Committee Application Form 2016
Prince William County Public Schools is adopting textbooks to support our History & Social Science program in grades K-12. Textbooks
are an important resource for teachers, students, and parents. The expense warrants careful examination and scrutiny by many people.
Our Regulation (653-2) ensures a thorough review of books under consideration. This form is designed to assist with assigning the most
qualified people to our workgroups. Meetings will be scheduled from May to November. Committee members are expected to read and
analyze the texts under review prior to attending and participating in all meetings as scheduled.
