 Be felony-free before being accepted
 Have fingerprint screening for cadets

 Become familiar with the operations
and requirements of CAP
 Complete Level I
 Enroll in a specialty track (Professional
Development progression is covered in
CAPR 50-17)

 Training includes understanding regulations
 CAP and USAF conduct unit inspections (SUI), survey audits, and
compliance inspections (CI) to ensure national standards are met
