Introduction:
Type a brief statement about latitude & longitude. DELETE these instructions.
Objective:
To determine the latitude and longitude of specific New York locations using the Earth Science
Reference Tables.
Materials: Earth Science Reference Tables, straight edge/ruler
Procedure:
Locate each city on page 3 of the ESRT. Then, find its latitude and longitude, expressed in
degrees and minutes. For Part 2, find the coordinates given in the data table, and write the
closest New York location.
