Ever since I was young, I have
always had a problem with
early mornings, but now, as an
adult, I have to set my alarm for
5:00am, in the morning,
everyday! However, it’s hard
for me to wake up that early. I
have multiple alarms set to
make sure I am awake, so I am
able to leave on time. Traffic
can be rough in the mornings,
and sitting in my car trying to
get to work makes me cranky!

EXAMPLE ENTRY:
Chapter: Chapter 17
Recurring Theme: Sin
Summary: Hester and Dimmesdale meet in the
forest and hold hands. Dimmesdale says life with a
scarlet letter would be preferable to his life of
deception, since Hester is the only person with
whom he can be himself. The rest is emptiness,
falsehood, and death.
Analysis: Dimmesdale knows that his secret sin and
the split identity it creates in him is actually killing
him.
