9:32 TD: Good Morning Cynthia & PJ!
9:32 PJ: Good Morning Cyn and TD
9:32 Cynthia E: GM PJ.....looks like a very small group this morning...
9:32 Cynthia E: wonder where everyone is?
9:33 Cynthia E: TD looks like he has stepped away also with the bbl clock by his name
9:33 PJ: Did you receive Mark's e-mail?
9:33 Cynthia E: No, I haven't checked email yet....hold on...
9:34 PJ: TD is here
9:35 Cynthia E: Okay, that makes sense for Mark. I know they moved to OK for that reason!

9:35 TD: Good Morning John Boy
9:35 john boy: morning ladies! Miss Cyn and Miss PJ
9:36 Cynthia E: Morning JB
9:36 PJ: GM JB
9:36 john boy: TD your not showing up for me, but a hearty good morning to ya
9:36 Cynthia E: Morning TD, back from morning errands?
9:36 Cynthia E: JB right click your member list and hit refresh
9:36 TD: Yes, I am
9:36 PJ: TOS had issues this morning. I was not able to log on until about 8:45
9:37 john boy: thanks, Cyn, now can I remember that next time I need it
9:38 PJ: Most mornings I have to refresh to see TD
9:41 Cynthia E: Just FYI, I'm still working to get my full chart package ready for you all in Ensign, so when Howard
steps in this morning, I'll be stepping out to further that project
9:41 Cynthia E: I have faith in you JB :)
9:42 john boy: I greatly appreciate the confidence Cyn, it means a great deal to me
9:42 john boy: How is moisture and you still going to get another cut of hay
9:43 john boy: I know farmers in the east were scrambling to get the ride in before any rain and wind from Isaac two
weeks ago
2
9:45 Cynthia E: Yep, we are going to get hay .....I think we'll actually end up with some to sell as we bought quite a bit
extra during the summer thinking we would not have enough without the 2nd cut....and now our hay field is thick....I bet
we get twice as much yield as we did on the 1st cut
9:45 Cynthia E: The late Friday spike is holding as resistance.....Spike rules in play
9:48 Cynthia E: The 14,400 has a very strong hidden divergence short set up, any strong close below Friday's Low at
1332.25, will likely take us back to the 1414.5/1412 area.
9:55 Cynthia E: All indicators on 3600 say SOH, MA's Flat, STO in middle range, ERG at zero....900 currently reading
the same.
9:55 TD: Thanks Cynthia
9:57 PJ: Cyn, I did not get a response back from the e-mail I sent concerning volume. But Peter did post a volume chart
in his weekend update.
9:58 Cynthia E: Ok! I'll check it out! Thanks for the follow up. ;)
9:58 Cynthia E: Today volume is tracking VERY low relative to Thurs and Fri
9:59 Cynthia E: Very low confidence open. Open Auction, low volume, non-directional.
9:59 Cynthia E: My apologies, I just realized I did not update the Econ Calendar on this morning's update report
10:00 john boy: 299 35.5
10:00 Cynthia E: thanks JB
10:00 john boy: yw
10:01 Cynthia E: I had 178 for the ONV, so we had 121 in the opening half which is definitely low
10:02 Cynthia E: vs. 738 Thurs and 705 Fri
10:02 Cynthia E: those numbers compare to JB's 299
10:02 john boy: this is an "enter at your own risk" market
10:03 Cynthia E: indeed
10:04 Cynthia E: Speaking of "at your own risk"......I started riding Pancho yesterday!!!!
10:05 john boy: did he enjoy himself
10:05 Cynthia E: He had been started once before about 5 years ago, but this is the 2nd time we've been on him since we
purchased him.
10:06 Cynthia E: When Michael tried it about 6 months ago, Pancho bucked him off. This time I just started with baby
steps.
10:07 Cynthia E: I rode bareback and the entire ride was just asking him for several steps backing up.....and then to put
his nose on my knee and learn to turn around....I NEVER asked him to walk forward yesterday....he did well......he got a
litle nervous but managed to keep it together....
10:08 Cynthia E: I wore my helmet, which I can tell you I never do! So that should speak to what I thought would
happen to me.....
10:09 TD: Wait until Pancho sees that helmet on you again! LOL
10:10 Cynthia E: We are trying to get a lot of training in right now and get him use to a lot of things because he is going
to lose his eye and will have to learn to compensate....
10:10 TD: Oh , I am sorry to hear that.
10:11 PJ: That is sad, poor Pancho
10:11 PJ: Is his other eye healthy?
10:12 Cynthia E: Thanks, they can actually manage pretty well. I just feel I'm doing more damage shooting him up with
all the necessary IV drugs to keep him out of pain and try to manage the disease....
10:12 Cynthia E: Yes, PJ thankfully his other eye is great....
10:13 Cynthia E: He pretty much has had the loss of the eye for the last 6 months or so anyway because of the aggressive
protection mask he has had to wear....
10:14 PJ: Was he just young when you purchased him?
10:14 Cynthia E: No, he was about 5 when we got him.....we haven't ridden him because he is our breeding stallion
10:15 john boy: that lucky guy
10:15 PJ: every man's wish
10:15 Cynthia E: And all riding clubs have rules about "no stallions" - so we couldn't travel with him anyway....
10:15 Cynthia E: yep! Lol
10:16 Cynthia E: This market is acting much like Friday's action!!! :(
10:16 john boy: good thing I can do dishes and laundry, I might not get to stay here otherwise
10:16 Cynthia E: Lol JB....
10:17 PJ: Cyn, why is the FIB on the weekly drawn in reverse of the monthly and daily on the update?
3
10:17 john boy: speaking of todays action looking like friday's. I have learned enough that I am headed to my man cave
to get a little done on a wood working project. will check back in later
10:17 Cynthia E: Great Question PJ!
10:18 Cynthia E: See you later JB
10:18 PJ: Have fun JB
10:19 Cynthia E: PJ, it is reversed because between Apr and Jun we were in an intermediate term down trend.....in other
words if you look at the Monthly the WHOLE chart shows an uptrend.......but each time we are in the leg from the UPPER
channel line down to the LOWER channel line that would be considered an Intermediate term downtrend.
10:20 Cynthia E: Let me throw a few chart examples up here....
10:23 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit37.png
10:23 Cynthia E: So this is the Monthly Chart backed up further with more history on it than what you can see on the
update report
10:24 Cynthia E: The big red and green arrows show a long term downtrend, then a long term uptrend....this is what I
refer to as primary
4
10:24 Cynthia E: Now I'm going to show the SAME chart....but I'm going to draw the INTERMEDIATE TERM
trends......
10:25 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit38.png
10:27 Cynthia E: So each WAVE of a long term or PRIMARY trend is considered an INTERMEDIATE term trend.....in
this case Primary up legs are intermedate term uptrends, while Primary retracements are intermediate term downtrends...
10:27 Cynthia E: So, then you have to go to the FIB rules.....
10:30 Cynthia E: If you look closely at the graph above the section of this year between Apr and Jun has a red arrow on it
meaning we were in an intermediate term downtrend......which then means we draw the fib from high to low (or
backwards as you point out).......and we cannot consider the trend reversed until 1) Price moves significantly past the
61.8% level....that is your first clue of reversal, 2) officially however, price must exceed the 1:1 level or the 100%
level.....which we did when we CLOSED above 1417.75......that is why that particular number is mentioned so many
times in the report. And the Fib is still drawn backwards....because we actually now have to retest the level and hold it
as support because any move back inside that level means that the break out was a fake out instead....
10:31 Cynthia E: If you notice....the FIB here on the monthly starts much further back than Jan 1....that is why it is drawn
bottom to top....
5
10:32 TD: Very interesting. Thanks Cynthia!
10:32 Cynthia E: And the same way each leg of a primary trend is an intermediate term trend......such is a short term
trend......for every leg of an intermediate term trend is a short term trend.....and as such for the day time frame relative to
the short term....
10:33 Cynthia E: You can think of it like the toy 3 year olds play with.... the "embedding blocks"........within each size
larger trend....there are embedded smaller trends.....
10:34 PJ: That is interesting, I did not realize that we had to retest the 100% and retest. Thanks
10:34 Cynthia E: Sure TD.....hope that helps PJ.....any follow up questions?
10:35 Cynthia E: Yes....and why would that be PJ....think VERY simple.....markets can do what? Up, Down,
Sideways....that's it right?
10:36 Cynthia E: So if we fail that 100% test we are now what? Back to sideways or potentially back to down, but we
are no longer UP anymore....right?
10:36 Cynthia E: Think of it this way.....
10:37 Cynthia E: Once a range is created.....if the range is extended the current trend is extended.....if you just stay inside
the range that = sideways or consolidation.....and to reverse you have to exit the range to the opposite side.
10:38 Cynthia E: This simple rule applies to ALL timeframes even the 3200 chart....
10:40 Cynthia E: That is why I kept saying we are in a day time frome "uptrend" or "downtrend"......I'll print the DAILY
chart the same way....first with the Short Term Trend Arrows....then with the Day Time Frame Trend Arrows
10:40 PJ: Yes, just like in the stack lesson. Even though we've reached a stack number that doesn't mean it is accepted.
The same would apply to the trend...
10:41 Cynthia E: YES! There you go....now your thinking PJ!!!
10:41 TD: PJ very good :)
10:41 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit39.png
See Chart on Next page:
6
10:42 Cynthia E: So here's the DAILY "big picture shown"
10:43 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit40.png
See Chart on Next page:
7
10:43 Cynthia E: Here is the DAILY "short term picture shown"
10:44 Cynthia E: See how many more turns there are on this one than on the Monthly......that just makes good sense
because on the Monthly you are highlighting intermediate trend which is 2 levels slower than this one which is DAY
TIME FRAME trend.....the shorter the trend the faster the turns.....
10:45 Cynthia E: This RIGHT here, by the way, is why new traders fail so drastically at trying to day trade, particularly
scalpers and over-traders.....
10:46 PJ: retracement rather than reversal??
10:46 Cynthia E: Because they are trying to watch this pheonmenon on 5 min or 1 min charts and look how many "turns"
there are here even on a DAILY.....now imagine how many there are on a 1 min chart....and how accuarate do you think a
beginner day trader that doesn't know this concept is at understanding trend and turn rules?
10:47 Cynthia E: On which part PJ?
10:47 Cynthia E: Oh....yes, you mean the over-traders! YES!
10:47 PJ: failure in trading
8
10:48 Cynthia E: Exactly.....their actual problem is that they don't even know the difference and don't even know WHICH
leg they are in at all....
10:50 PJ: I really like the charting feature. It makes it really convenient to move between the different charts!
10:51 Cynthia E: This is why in one of the email lessons I put out a while back, I said you can "go pro" eventually....but
the only job you get to start at the top is "post hole digging".....people come to active trading and start out trying to scalp 1
min charts and burn up all their capital. They need to become experts at being capable of identifiying WHAT leg of the
trend they are in at all these longer term time frames FIRST....then if they want to go smaller.....it is a learning curve, time
in the seat, and practice......because if they can't do the big stuff easily....there is no way they can do it a 20x
speed.....especially in the face of news and economic data, high volume, volatility, etc.....the challenge gets compounded
exponentially!
10:51 Cynthia E: Yep! Great PJ....I do to. I love the "back/forward" buttons....very nice!
10:54 Cynthia E: And if you start in the right place like you and TD.....then you learn by the time you are stepping
through the learning process that the mad hatter scalping method just isn't necessary anyway....
10:57 TD: I am sure there are conversations elsewhere: 'Scalped 10 trades so far this morning. And I am for the day…
about 0.5 to 0.75 pts. And there are 5 more hours of trading left'!
10:57 PJ: Yes, you've taught us that we know what we are looking and waiting for so we can just let all the noise pass.
10:58 TD: So happy to wait for the right set up and get 2- 4 pts on even slow days
10:59 Cynthia E: :) so much less stressful too :)
10:59 TD: Totally agree
11:00 TD: I meant to say that the 'Scalper Trader' was up for the day 0.5 to 0.75 pts after 10 trades! Makes no sense!!
11:01 Cynthia E: Okay. Well I'm going to get busy on site stuff....I'm going to stay logged in without my bbl on because
I need Howard this morning and if he pops in, I want him to see I'm here and available.
11:01 Cynthia E: Yep, I got that TD :)
11:01 TD: Have a great day Cynthia!
11:02 Cynthia E: Thanks TD....same to you and PJ
11:02 Cynthia E: hope the mini- lesson was helpful! :)
11:02 TD: Yes, very much! Thanks
11:04 PJ: See you Cyn, the mini-lesson was very helpful. Have a great day
11:25 PJ: Redrew my weekly Fib retracements, with a better understanding.
11:26 TD: Good for you PJ. You are ahead of me on that.
11:28 PJ: This week I am alone at the office and it will be very quiet. I was hoping for a little more movement in the
market. But these quiet days provide for good lerning opportunities.
11:29 PJ: *learning
11:31 TD: Good for you. Learn and keep watching the market. When the market is slow, it is human nature to expect it
to remain slow. Then comes the comment, 'Missed that move'! Learn, be patient and keep watching the market.
11:33 PJ: Will do TD, thanks for sharing your wisdom.
11:34 TD: YW PJ.
11:36 TD: And thank you for your insight on Cyn's charts earlier this morning.
11:37 PJ: One more question TD.... when people say they blew up an account, is that an arbitary amount or the $3500
required to open a TOS account?
11:37 PJ: *arbitrary.
11:39 Cynthia E: PJ.....I blew up 2 accounts "learning".....$25,000......then another $12,000!!!! To blow up an account
means you liquidate your account to nothing.... ;(
11:39 TD: In my opinion, 'blowing up an account' is losing the majority of your starting capital (75% to 90+%). Then
you are left with so little to trade that you cannot make enough to survive as a traderr.
11:40 TD: OR go broke like Cynthia just said.
11:41 PJ: Yikes, then you have to build it back up in order to trade.
11:42 Cynthia E: PJ....I have shared the story with several that in order to stay committed to my endevor to make it as a
full time trader at one point I continued paper trading during the day to continue learning and improving my knowledge,
but I actually took a night job waiting tables to rebuild my accounts after those blow ups....
11:42 PJ: Yes, I like the paper trade feature. Push a button and replenish (lol)
11:43 Cynthia E: I am not one of the lucky few that got to start my trading career with a multi-six-figure account.....
11:43 Cynthia E: I started just like the majority of the people on our team
11:43 PJ: Speak to your determination Cyn, thanks for trying to keep us from that kind of loss!
11:43 TD: Yes, thanks Cyn!
9
11:45 Cynthia E: Yes PJ....that is EXACTLY why I'm motivated to share my knowledge and my experience. If I can
help even 1 person avoid walking through that train wreck, my efforts will be well rewarded....
11:46 PJ: Cyn did you neet to overcome emotional fears after those losses?
11:47 Cynthia E: OMG!!!! Yes! And that is the reason why a GREAT deal of our lessons and my teaching will be on
your mental/emotional state.......I learned the hard way that 98% of a trading system is between your ears..... lol :)
11:50 Cynthia E: You cannot be success and 2nd guess every move you make...."Oh, I'm up 3 ticks, I better take profit
now or it will go against me.....Oh, I'm down, I was wrong...better cut my losses before they get worse......I better keep
tight stops so I don't get hurt so bad (darn "they" just took me out by 1 tick and I could have made $10 pts)......this one
looks like good runner, I'll let it run (only to have it reverse back to negative).....so on and so forth.....if this is your mental
record player.....the trader is in BIG trouble!
11:51 Cynthia E: Sadly...this is exactly what most traders are going through in every trade.
11:52 Cynthia E: This cannot be fixed by a great system or even great rules.....it can only be fixed by looking internally
and working on personal self-esteem, and self-confidence....and realizing YOU are not the result of your
trading.....winning/losing doesn't make you a good or bad person....
11:52 PJ: Yes, that would be me. But, I'm learning to follow your example and base decisions based on indicators, not
feelings.
11:53 Cynthia E: It is indeed a challenge....one we will be jumping into with both feet when the site opens! :)
11:55 Cynthia E: Strong mental, emotional fortitude is what builds GREAT traders...... and it is within each one of us, we
must search for the diamonds in the rough!

14:28 Cynthia E: Quick question for you.
14:28 LM: Sure.
14:29 Cynthia E: Can you change the text on the current stub out on the graph to say Dow, Nasdaq, SPX.....rather than
U.S. Europe, Asia?
14:30 LM: Yes, that is no problem. Do you just need the change on the beta site for the moment?
14:30 Cynthia E: I'm asking because Howard is going to be out this week and it may be next week before we can
complete the chart uploading....but if you can just change the words...I can make videos with the chart that is there
14:30 Cynthia E: Yes on "our" site
14:30 LM: sure, no problem.
14:31 Cynthia E: Thanks!
14:31 LM: You are very welcome.
14:31 Cynthia E: Hope your day is going well
14:32 LM: Yes, very busy, but I wanted to login for a few minutes and say "Hi!". How are things going for you?
14:34 Cynthia E: Good, fixed my volume issue....still fighing with the "bug" though
14:35 LM: I hear you.
14:36 Cynthia E: Oh, and I have pics ready for the Press Box also
14:36 LM: good deal, yes, I have not completed the SnagIt setup for that, but that is #1 on my list for tonight.
14:37 Cynthia E: okay...no hurry.... :)
14:38 LM: cool, if you need it for screenshots or anything, you can also e-mail it to me and I can just upload it manually
for the moment.
14:38 Cynthia E: question though...with 2 snagit setups.....is it possible to make this one the default so that I never try to
send chart examples to the other spot
14:38 Cynthia E: I'll email you one....just to be sure what I've built fits right
14:39 LM: Sure. I think you can make one the default, but I need to check the SnagIt config to be sure.
14:40 Cynthia E: Sample sent
14:40 Cynthia E: Great1
14:40 Cynthia E: I can just see these giant charts trying to jump to that spot....scary.....lol
10
14:41 LM: Yes, I can force a fixed size, so at least a giant chart would not throw off the rest of the page. Also, if we use
a different naming convention for each profile, in theory it would not overwrite the actual 'press text' that was there. It
just wouldn't update it.
14:43 Cynthia E: Okay...I'll let you tell me what the naming convention needs to be...
14:45 LM: k, we can probably keep using your current one for the charts, and just use a fixed image name for the press
text; maybe 'hotpressimage.png'.
14:46 Cynthia E: that works :)
14:47 Cynthia E: I wrote that down so I have it exactly as you suggested
14:48 LM: cool. I'll use that name for the initial fixed image as well. (I just received the image you sent. I need to run
out for a bit, but I'll get the image up as soon as I can.)
14:48 LM: be back in a bit...
14:48 Cynthia E: np...have a good day
14:48 LM: you too!
15:18 Cynthia E: TD...hope you caugt this short....entry at 1:45 at 1435
15:24 TD: Yes, Cyn. Got in late. But, caught 1.5 points for a slow, low volume day
15:24 Cynthia E: Hey! Great job! Well done my friend! :)
15:25 Cynthia E: the 14,400 shows it really clear to enter at 1334 (a little lower than the 3600), but still would have been
good for a $3 pointer on a day like today! not too shaby
15:26 TD: The early bird catches the worms. And a patient trader has less stress.
15:26 Cynthia E: I like that one....might steal it for a tip of the day....credit due of course :)
15:27 TD: By all means, please do. I like mixed metaphors. And I am still learning / working at patience.
15:31 Cynthia E: :) Hey, $1.5 pts on a day like today is GREAT.....imagine how much the 20 round trip trader would
have lost today getting beat up on boths sides all day
15:31 Cynthia E: Hey! Just a tip...I just saw another clear reason for entry....

9:46 PJ: Just going to say, we don't where to rush to
9:47 Cynthia E: Here Here! Well stated PJ!
9:48 Cynthia E: Did you see the nice late day short PJ?
9:48 Cynthia E: Not that you were here to take the trade, but just in review of the chart, did you see how it formed up?
9:49 PJ: Yes, I'm ashamed to say. I entered in paper, waiting for it to continue down and then had to run to the bank. So
I moved my stop in to cover commission and left my target. It took my stop and then continued down.
9:50 PJ: While I was out
9:50 Cynthia E: NO!!!! That is a GREAT lesson.....now you know why I teach not to trail stops real tight......that will
happen 98% of the time....that is the nature of /ES...and I'm glad you got to see it on paper before having real money on
it....
9:52 Cynthia E: Coming right into 33.50
9:54 Cynthia E: Long 1433.50
9:54 Cynthia E: Watching this range closely
9:55 Cynthia E: Confirmation on 14,400
9:56 Cynthia E: Watching WMA 24 and EMA 110 around 1432 for stop area
9:58 Cynthia E: Also happens to be Thurs High/Friday Low
9:58 Cynthia E: 1434 is R1 so testing here is expected
9:59 Cynthia E: And by testing I mean momentary pull backs as volume filters out
10:00 Cynthia E: Volume 525
10:01 Cynthia E: New Half, want to see pop not flop
10:07 Cynthia E: Failure to extend IB range higher in the 2nd half
10:12 PJ left
10:12 PJ joined
10:12 Cynthia E: Making 2nd attempt at extending IB range....WMA 24 up to 32.50 now
10:14 Cynthia E: Above 33.50 here back inside yesterday's balance should take target to 1438 (opposite side of
balance)....if we ever pick up momentum
10:14 Cynthia E: thus I have target order at 37.50
10:22 Cynthia E: The indecision continues...
10:22 Cynthia E: Breadth trending slightly higher
10:22 PJ: I'm just watching this one
10:23 Cynthia E: This is a good one to watch PJ.....can see this is one that really tries the patience
10:24 Cynthia E: Would make a "weak hand" very nervous and even for some raise blood pressure.....
10:25 PJ: Yes and I don't need that
10:25 Cynthia E: I think the longer a trade doesn't "take off".....the more shakey new traders become, because you are
used to having it go against you fast, so the assumption is that it will always give you profit fast as well.....makes these
times really hard to stomach
10:27 Cynthia E: That is where you have to let go of "control".....we can't control what the market does or where it goes.
All we can do is read our indicators the best we are capable of, and we must have a belief that the information provided is
actually value added....in other words, that it truly is giving us reliable market information
10:29 Cynthia E: This is also where it is important to develop self - confidence. You didn't make a great call if you win,
and a bad call if you lose.....you simply must take the trades that set up.....then we're back to let go of control.....it isn't
within your means to control the outcome
10:30 Cynthia E: Volume 663
10:31 PJ: That is low again?
10:31 Cynthia E: Tracking higher than yesterday but lower than the last 5 day Avg
10:31 PJ: That is low again?
10:31 Cynthia E: Tracking higher than yesterday but lower than the last 5 day Avg
10:32 Cynthia E: I am coming upon having been in this trade for an hour and I'm still at essentially break-even
10:32 Cynthia E: * up on
10:33 PJ: That is patience!!
10:36 Cynthia E: I have a hard stop now at 1432 based on several factors 1) WMA 24 at 32.75, 2) Mini bull flag in last
hour should not break to the bottom side that would be bearish, 3) Not willing to allow trade against me back inside Thurs
rally range - that would be very bearish now that we've traded above for an hour....would indicate we are likely to test
yesterday spike low....
14
10:38 Cynthia E: Also logical to tighten stop this length of time into a trade because each half hour is FAILING to make
new highs
10:40 PJ: Small IB range , 5.5 pts
10:40 Cynthia E: If you were monitoring this and now you saw a touch of today's high at 34.50 or just slightly above and
then quick responsive action (pull back)...you'd step out with break-even.....as that would be a divergence
10:41 Cynthia E: Yes, good point, thank you PJ.....that is sign 2 of low confidence market
10:42 Cynthia E: So if you are making a check sheet.....1) Where is ONV? It is Long, Short, Neutral? 2) What kind of
open do you have? Open Run, Open Auction? 3) Size of IB range? Small/ Consolidated or Large/Elongated? These
should all be "clues" to the strength of the day
10:43 TD: Thanks, keeping notes.
10:43 Cynthia E: So here we are at 34.50, let's see what happens this time......failed divergence is also known as what?
Hint: Think price patterns.....
10:44 Cynthia E: Now I like my trade better, but it doesn't make me a better trader or better person just because I'm up
now.... :)
10:45 Cynthia E: It just means I'm less mentally/emotionally stressed....I'm calm....
10:45 Cynthia E: BECAUSE, I'm okay with either outcome
10:46 PJ: I'm still on failed diverence.....double top??
10:46 Cynthia E: Stop to 32.50 based on miniature ascending triangle breakout.....
10:47 Cynthia E: YES!!!!! Good Job PJ! Well Done.....You really are catching on well! Did you get that answer TD?
10:47 TD: Yes, very good.
10:51 Cynthia E: A double top is nothing more than a duel test of the same price level.....which is exactly what a
divergence is (the only added feature to "divergence" is that you get divergence by price doing one thing while indicators
do opposite....thus "diverge" or "opposing" signals....

10:56 john boy: Cyn
10:57 john boy: it takes lots of makeup for me, matter of fact I don't know if it was me
10:58 PJ: What was the commercial for?
10:58 john boy: actually it was a 5 min segment on a local morning show. I am on the board of directors of a small local

11:06 Cynthia E: That's Awesome JB!
11:07 john boy: thanks, we have a good time putting smiles on kids faces.
11:07 Cynthia E: what a blessing :)
11:08 PJ: JB I just read about it. That is a wonderful organization.
11:08 john boy: started organization 5 years ago
11:08 john boy: thanks PJ
11:08 Cynthia E: That is one of my long term goals with our horses....to get kids involved with them that wouldn't
otherwise have a chance at such a thing....
11:09 Cynthia E: I am going to look it up later JB....I want to read about it as well.....have to do it on the laptop as my
computer is having browser issues
11:14 Cynthia E: I have to get started on site stuff....I have a line drawn on the trend on the breadth and I'm still tracking
the WMA 24...I'll just stay with this as long as both continue their slow uptrend....and I'll report OUT when I close it
11:14 TD: Thanks Cyn. Have a good day!
11:14 Cynthia E: Hard Target still set at 1437.50, hard Stop now at 1333 (max $.50 cent risk left in trade)
11:15 john boy: good day to ya Cyn

11:15 Cynthia E: You guys and PJ have a great day as well ! :)
11:15 PJ: You too Cyn, see you later
11:31 TD: Cynthia, Very Good Trade!
11:31 Cynthia E: OUT 1337.50 on 2nd touch...... $4.00 pts......but entered at 8:54 Cynthia E: Long 1433.50 CST.....big
patience play
11:32 PJ: Congrats Cyn, that was a great, patient trade!
11:32 Cynthia E: This was "Spike Rules" from the Market Profile. Discussed on page 3 of Morning Update. Broke
resistance....Target becomes opposite side of Balance Area.
11:33 Cynthia E: And PJ....the 24 was never challenged....so you just enter and then you must believe your indicators are
providing value.
11:34 Cynthia E: and always remember that before anything can change for the long term you must FIRST see change on
the shortest term time frame you are looking at (in this case our shortest graph is the 3600 and the fastest indicator is the
WMA24) if it isn't saying Whoa....then neither should you! ;)
11:36 PJ: I'm copying that as a reminder
11:37 Cynthia E: Now, back to the dungeons! :)
11:38 Cynthia E: :) PJ
11:39 PJ: stay away from dragons!!
11:47 Cynthia E: Wow! Talk about luck! 37.50 was the high print......that is one benefit of setting targets early in your
trade so that you are early in the order que....
11:47 TD: very good point.
11:48 Cynthia E: I usually have a "target chase" feature turned on in Ninja Trader that will fill me 1 tick down
guaranteed....In other words, if it hits 37.50 but doesn't cover bid/ask spread to 37.75....I end up getting 37.25....but today I
actually got filled at 37.50 on the second pop up.....I'll take it! Gifts are nice! :)
11:49 Cynthia E: Getting early in line int the order que is one example of where JB's "beat the rush" actually can be
handy! :)
11:59 john boy: good rule!
12:01 Cynthia E: lol
12:39 allyn: 10:40 Cynthia E: If you were monitoring this and now you saw a touch of today's high at 34.50 or just

14:45 Cynthia E: Market has made a nice divergence from the morning high to the 1:55 high.....setting up for another
afternoon short if break below SMA 60 and 1433.50 occurs.....
15:03 PJ: I'm short 1433
15:14 Cynthia E: Nice PJ....sorry, stepped away to get a bite to eat.....
15:15 PJ: Haven't made much progress
15:15 Cynthia E: Now as I would be monitoring this I would watch both the 24 and the 60....the 24 should come down
and cross the 60 as this progresses; however, because they are so close, I'd allow a close over the 24 right now before
exiting....
15:16 Cynthia E: I short now at 1433 also.
15:16 Cynthia E: Was going to be subborn and try to get 34 or 33.50 but I couldn't get filled
15:16 PJ: Okay, we'll cheer this on together
15:17 Cynthia E: You bet! :)
15:17 PJ: Target 1429
15:17 Cynthia E: But we'll hope it goes a little faster than this morning.... lol
15:17 PJ: Yes, please!!!!
16
15:17 Cynthia E: Yep! That's a great target....so I'm setting my Hard order at 29.50
15:17 PJ: Cyn, what is your target?
15:19 Cynthia E: If we start to get some serious momentum we could look at reaching for 1425.75 (yesterday low)....but
I'm doubting we'll see the confidence necessary to make that play
15:21 Cynthia E: PJ...you don't have to close just because we roll past 3:30....I just don't typically START new trades
after that time......just FYI....
15:22 PJ: Good to know I was thinking about that.
15:23 PJ: the 24 is one tick away from the 60 now
15:23 Cynthia E: Yep, just as we saw yesterday....there can be big $6-8 pointers moving into the close
15:23 Cynthia E: Yep...see that is exactly what I was looking for....
15:25 Cynthia E: Now 24/60 at 34.00 so max risk essentially $1 pt
15:25 Cynthia E: don't move a hard stop there though
15:26 PJ: No, that did not work too well yesterday, but this is real, not paper
15:27 Cynthia E: It is possible to see some good downside acceleration here, because during the morning session we
failed to take out yesterday's high.....so now test of yesterday low is logical...

15:39 PJ: Would you close at 3:45 if we haven't reached target or limit?
15:40 Cynthia E: No.....I will let it run right up to close as long as the 24 is allowing it....yesterday it was good to let it
ride all the way to the 4:13 mark.....
15:41 Cynthia E: Unless of course we really start seeing material weakness.....
15:42 Cynthia E: We are still "one-time framing" on the profile as long as we break the most recent low at 31.50
15:43 Cynthia E: Failure to break that by 4:00 would be cause to step out this late in the day
15:43 Cynthia E: It is not "holding overnight" unless you don't close by 4:15
15:44 PJ: With my lack of patience I already feel as though I've held overnigh LOL
15:44 Cynthia E: I hear ya! LOL
15:45 Cynthia E: The TIMING of the /ES is by far the hardest things for traders to adjust to.....the constant feeling like
the trade has failed if it doesn't whoosh immediately after entry....
15:46 PJ: I do think yesterday moved along at a faster clip
15:47 Cynthia E: okay....so now failure to break the 31.50 is important....
15:47 PJ: watching
15:48 Cynthia E: EXITING
15:48 Cynthia E: OUT BREAK-EVEN
15:48 Cynthia E: See how the whoosh came and failed....
15:49 PJ: Yes, I'm out -.25, but good learning experience and practice
15:49 Cynthia E: Now....I would just sit a allow the 24 to keep working......but because of time of day.....we needed
results....because another "round" could run us out of time
15:49 Cynthia E: And clearly....that was responsive buying....to get there and pop back up so quickly
15:50 Cynthia E: Which likely means we'll rally back into the mid-day balance for the close
15:50 PJ: So I am glad to be out now
15:51 Cynthia E: Compare yesterday's late day "red" candles to today.....(do you have my script where the candles are
colored hour by hour?
15:51 PJ: Yes, quite the difference
15:52 PJ: Actually I was comparing earlier, the last green candles were very similar to yesterday, but, then what a change
15:52 Cynthia E: Yes....see how yesterday you saw definite trade progression? vs. Today.....no such thing.....AND the
fact that there are only 4 red candles vs. yesterday's 8.....speaks to VOLUME coming into the move or in this case lack
there of
15:53 Cynthia E: EXACTLY!!!
17
15:54 Cynthia E: Now often the market will make a fast, unpredictable move during those last 15 minutes...but if I'm not
already in a position where I'm several points up in the trade and getting nice trade progression....that's just not a gamble
I'm willing to bet on...
15:55 Cynthia E: I actually got out right at 33 so I had a commission pop.....just FYI....but I call anything $-.25 up to
+.$.25 "break-even"....because those little things make no material difference in the long run
15:56 Cynthia E: Now we actually broke the "one-time frame".....let me show you a picture
15:58 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit42.png
15:59 PJ: I see, meaning price is higher this 1/2 hour than last
16:00 Cynthia E: One Time Framing is Dalton's term for "trending" by which he defines each period as setting a lower
high/lower low....
16:01 Cynthia E: Yes....so not only did it fail to break 31.50 on that touch down, failing to create the lower low....it also
moved back up and created a higher high....
16:01 Cynthia E: Compare that to yesterday's right beside it....big difference in progression
16:02 Cynthia E: now we are seeing some closing volatility
18
16:02 PJ: That is much clearer on MP than MB
16:03 Cynthia E: This is the new ENSIGN Price Histogram introduced to you on the Why Ensign Powerpoint I sent!!! ;)
16:03 Cynthia E: Beautiful isn't it!
16:03 Cynthia E: He has added special features on request that Investor RT did not even have...
16:04 PJ: Yes it is. I'm waiting for the go ahead to try the Ensign charting
16:05 Cynthia E: Yes.....that is next on my list....going to try to package my charts later today!!! :)
16:06 Cynthia E: I want to share something else real quick as we close today.....a portion of the CYN methedology
16:06 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit43.png
16:06 PJ: okay
16:07 Cynthia E: Do you all see 3 graphs now?
16:07 PJ: Yes, I do
16:07 Cynthia E: Okay...sorry....strange on my end...no big deal
16:07 Cynthia E: Okay....look at the far right (should have labeled them).....they are FROM LEFT 3,600, 7,200,
14,400.....
16:07 PJ: Are they the 14400, 3600 and 900?
16:08 Cynthia E: on the 14,400 far right you can see price was RIGHT on the "critical line"....and it was horizontal....
16:08 Cynthia E: THIS is where the "critical line" theory comes from.
16:09 Cynthia E: It is a little more accenuated on the middle chart 7,200....but do you see on this middle chart how a
move UP would have been a "perfect LONG"? HIGH long term STO, ERG bouncing off zero????
16:10 Cynthia E: ST STO would have only need to turn up and ERG bounce off zero and cross signal line
16:11 PJ: Yes, I see that. I was concerned a bit taking that trade because on the 3600 the LG STO was somewhat bullish
16:12 Cynthia E: So, this is WHY the critical line makes sense....because when price is AT the critical line on long term
charts.....ERG is AT zero.....thus if we get follow through on down signals on the 3600....it will pull the ERG down and
19
you'll start seeing confirmation on the longer terms....but if the down signals start to FAIL on the 3600 and price moves
up....you see that we are really just creating another UP leg of a longer term trend (remember our trend lesson
yesterday)?
16:13 Cynthia E: Right PJ....and so long as the market is generally "balancing" that often will be the case...."Perfect
Signals" are rare.....that is why when you do see them.....load the boat!!! :)
16:14 Cynthia E: Well, we would have gotten a few points...but our target was not hit...
16:16 PJ: Not today.
16:16 PJ: Would that have been the 3rd leg of the Elliott wave?
16:17 Cynthia E: Yep...so c'est la vie! Can't control it. Can only take what's given...
16:17 Cynthia E: No, it should have been leg 1 of the reversal
16:18 Cynthia E: Leg 1 would have been purple this morning, Leg 2 green, Leg 3 Cyan and Purple, this afternoon Leg 1
of new downturn or the "A"....if you want to get real sophisticated :)
16:18 Cynthia E: Elliot Wave is actually a 1,2,3,4,5 UP.....then a,b,c correction /retracement
16:19 Cynthia E: Although this morning's 1,2,3,4,5 was less than weak...pathetic really
16:19 PJ: I see it encompasses the entire day
16:20 Cynthia E: Which normally implies a strong a,b,c....that is why I liked your short!
16:20 Cynthia E: Yes! Always think bigger.....day traders like to look at "price patterns" and stuff on much too small a
scale....keeps them from really digesting the "big picture"
16:21 Cynthia E: Well, I have to get to the Morning Update! Any final questions?
16:21 PJ: Actually I forgot to think about Elliott until just now, see how my tunnel vision works, but, I'm trying.
16:22 PJ: Not now, have a good night and thanks for walking me through. See you tomorrow.
16:22 Cynthia E: It's a process, don't be tuff on yourself....it's hard 1) to know it all, 2) to remember it all, 3) apply it all
under pressure!
16:23 Cynthia E: No Problem...enjoyed it! Have a great night all! See everyone in the morning! :)

HIGHS and LOWS.....NOT from CLOSES......a tip I've learned from studying Dalton material....
9:43 Cynthia E: And our high yesterday was 1437.50 with the open at 1437.25
9:45 PJ: allyn I was just reading back in chat. You must have had an exciting night!
9:46 allyn: Ye p it was an eye opener and just got lucky for sure
9:46 allyn: I planned on getting up for the Germany deal but was very surprised when I opened my account for sure!!
22
9:47 allyn: lots of for sures
9:47 allyn: :)
9:47 PJ: But it was a good surprise
9:48 Cynthia E: So we have a bit of a clear indication that new highs are not bringing in significant additional buy orders
just by the tempo we are seeing up here
9:49 allyn: flatish right Cyn?
9:49 allyn: sideways
9:50 Cynthia E: Just reviewed MONTHLY chart out of curiousity....and monthly is in a WAVE 5 leg.....
9:51 Cynthia E: Which doesn't mean the market can't run...just means higher probability of muted range extension in the
run...
9:51 allyn: too the upside right?
9:51 Cynthia E: yes
9:53 Cynthia E: If we fail to really extend the 1439 high....that will be 4 days in a row of highs within a point and a half
of each other.....that is a GOOD sign that the buyers are "all in".......and that there just aren't any more participants
available to drive us higher
9:54 Cynthia E: If you all haven't already done so, I highly recommend Jim Dalton's "Market's in Profile" (his 2nd book,
red cover).....I think after the site opens I'm going to do a "book club" study of it.....it is really good
9:55 Cynthia E: This is called an OPEN REVERSAL PJ
9:56 Cynthia E: Up test, test, test......come back through OPEN price on volume and head in opposite direction....
9:56 Cynthia E: sorry, my dots always get me in trouble
9:57 Cynthia E: So now you've learned 3 types of OPENS PJ 1) Open Run 2) Open Auction 3) Open Reverse
9:57 PJ: Yes, I writing
9:57 Cynthia E: All very visible on the profile
9:57 Cynthia E: do you remember the 3 "opening" assesment questions from yesterday?
9:58 PJ: Open run and open drive interchangeable?
9:58 Cynthia E: Yes
9:58 PJ: thnking....
9:59 Cynthia E: 1) Where is the Overnight Inventory? Long, Short, or Unchanged? 2) What kind of OPEN do you have?
3) What kind of IB Range do you have? Small/Balanced/Consolidation? or Large/ Imbalanced/ Elongated.....
9:59 Cynthia E: These 3 questions guage MARKET CONFIDENCE....
10:00 Cynthia E: High confidence markets offer large trade opportunities.....Low confidence markets are best played
SOH
10:01 Cynthia E: And of course you can't make a final assessment on the IB range until after the hour is over....but you a
measuring it right from the open.....how far we move in the first 15 min, then 30, then 45, etc......elogation is evident or
not right off the bat
10:03 Cynthia E: Without doing our "homework" and seeing the big picture on the Monthly and Weekly charts...it would
have been easy this morning to be over eager to get long....
10:04 Cynthia E: But even the 3600 gives clues.....SMA 60 and EMA 110 flat and overlapped
10:04 john boy: 630k 37.75
10:05 PJ: So we have open reverse, small, balanced IB range, overnight inventory long
10:05 Cynthia E: Internals are positive, but losing momentum....
10:06 Cynthia E: So far....you were right on the Open Auction.....the Open Reverse has to Open test the one side and
RUN to the other side....can't balance
10:06 Cynthia E: Small IB and ONI long correct
10:12 Cynthia E: Remember I said we may not see much today with the FED meeting starting, the market has a funny
way of waiting on "news"
10:12 Cynthia E: Trying to test highs again
10:13 Cynthia E: Look how few candles we've had so far this first hour.....that is a sign of low confidence also....because
that is low volume
10:14 Cynthia E: relatively.....we are actually just a bit higher than yesterday volume, but that tells us that today's balance
is mostly day traders and floor traders
10:17 Cynthia E: I have to step away for just a few minutes....I'm less concered with a break over the exact ONH....and
more interested in seeing a CLOSE over 1439 to be interested long at all....a close below SMA 60 looks good short
10:17 allyn: thanks Cyn
10:18 PJ: thank you Cyn
23
10:34 Cynthia E: Back......SHORT at 1435
10:35 Cynthia E: Watching the exact same pattern we went through yesterday afternoon PJ....watching the 24 for the 60
cross over while we progress the trade
10:36 PJ: Yep, I'm short 1435.25, LG STO bullish again though
10:38 Cynthia E: Yep! Great catch....so we have to see it start to follow through......OR what could happen?
10:38 Cynthia E: the ST STO could turn up and then what kind of signal do you have?
10:38 PJ: divergence
10:39 Cynthia E: The reason I liked the short is because of overall big picture analysis and we had divergence on the two
highs set this morning.....
10:39 Cynthia E: Nope...if the ST STO turned up with the LT STO already high...that is a LONG
10:40 PJ: target 1431.75....what do you think?
10:41 Cynthia E: 1429....same as yesterday...because it was yesterday's low...but also almost the same low hit overnight...
10:41 Cynthia E: So TARGET order set at 1429.50
10:41 Cynthia E: Just track the 24 as we go
10:42 PJ: okay, I'm stretching myself lol
10:42 Cynthia E: good! can't learn new things unless you climb out of the box :)
10:42 Cynthia E: 24 crossed the 60 ....so liking that so far
10:43 Cynthia E: 1436 is the mental stop area
10:43 PJ: Not yet on my chart
10:44 Cynthia E: okay.....I don't have TOS open...just watching on my 3600
10:45 PJ: almost touching
10:45 Cynthia E: We are bouncing around here because breadth is testing the zero line...that always creates a bit of
bounce action
10:46 Cynthia E: But it has gone from 3.6 Pos down to 1.08 Pos....not far from going Neg
10:47 Cynthia E: So can you visually draw the lines? Rather than enter when we did we could have waited for the 60
retest on the bottom side which would have put the LT STO more "in line" because it would travel down...then the ST
STO would have to move up and turn back down....and the ERG would now move toward zero line and bounce off
bottom side
10:48 Cynthia E: My 24 is now about to cross the 110....getting close to 1435
10:48 PJ: Yes, mine crossed now ,24 at 1435.75
10:49 Cynthia E: See how quickly we can move to where total risk is in the range of $1.0....that's great
10:49 Cynthia E: because that is always a recoverable loss
10:50 Cynthia E: Now if we bounce here .....do you see how we will just be getting the retest of the 60 set up I just
described?
10:51 PJ: Yes, but, I would rather we just keep going short
10:52 PJ: 33.75 is Shadow trader's poc and 32.25 val
10:52 Cynthia E: LOL.....of course you would.....take a deep breath....yes, I'm being serious....slow your heart rate down...
10:53 Cynthia E: You have to learn to be rational rather than emotional durning a live trade....keep your analysis brain
turned on and turn the fear off
10:53 Cynthia E: Remember we dont' get to control outcome.....all we can do is take good set ups and manage risk
10:54 PJ: would like to see 110 hold as resistance and erg turn purple and down
10:55 Cynthia E: Yep....but it might test the 60.....that is the "normal" pattern
10:58 Cynthia E: We are testing the "mid-point" of the day.....the half way mark between our high and low
10:59 Cynthia E: New half....seconds away
11:01 john boy: 11 numbers 912 36.00
11:03 Cynthia E: touch of the 60
11:04 Cynthia E: Hard Stop now at 1436.50 based on 1 tick over the candle close over the 24 and profile structure
11:04 Cynthia E: Profile structure is telling me not to wait for close over 60
11:06 Cynthia E: Now 3600 set perfect....a move up takes us out.....a move down will trigger a very nice 60 retest
SHORT entry
11:06 Cynthia E: All indicators lined up
11:08 Cynthia E: It's the waiting that will kill ya.....lol :)
11:09 PJ: Now that I understand
11:09 Cynthia E: Move your hard stop to .75
11:10 Cynthia E: I'll explain in a minute....to 36.75
24
11:10 PJ: done
11:10 Cynthia E: just realized there is a single print at .50....those typically hold as support or resistance
11:11 Cynthia E: I'd rather give it 1 more tick...than have the stop hit by 1 tick just before the take off
11:13 Cynthia E: for those of you playing along.....if the SHORT triggers and you didn't enter with PJ and I, this is your
chance.....and for those with lots of gusto....if you are already in like PJ and I and the short triggers giving a 2nd
confirmation to the SHORT play....this would be your opportunity to ADD to the position if you so choose....
11:14 Cynthia E: *chose
11:14 Cynthia E: Now PJ, we just need the ERG to turn purple turn down and cross while the ST STO turns down
11:15 allyn: short 35.75
11:15 allyn: tgt 31.75
11:16 allyn: may trail as we approach
11:16 PJ: welcome aboard allyn
11:16 allyn: Merci :)
11:17 allyn: run backward Forest run backward
11:17 allyn: :)
11:18 Cynthia E: Nice entry Allyn....really starting to think 3-dimentionally......you have better trade position than PJ and
I, thus less risk and more profit.....and it is as if you entered WITH us. So you took OUR trade, not the upcoming short
signal that hasn't occured yet....
11:20 Cynthia E: Just in case you aren't watching it....we are also testing the SMA 20 on the 15 min chart from the
bottom side
11:20 allyn: thanks
11:20 Cynthia E: OUT -$1.75
11:20 PJ: Out -1.5
11:21 PJ: I'm thinking of a new rule for myself. When I enter a trade an the LG STO is still bullish I will set a 2 point
target.
11:23 Cynthia E: Be careful thinking that way PJ....I know the thought is the last 2 trades you could have gotten $2 pts
rather than a b/e and a -$1.5.....but when you enter the break of 60 rather than the restest of 60....on a runner you have
optimal trade position and can often see those $18 pointers like you were in last Thurs...
11:24 Cynthia E: Just stay the course.....I know it is tuff
11:25 allyn: stopped out -1.25
11:27 Cynthia E: Good Trade Gang. Played with patience by the rules....well done!
11:28 Cynthia E: We can't control outcomes, we can only control ourselves! :)
11:29 Cynthia E: I have to head out to get to site building stuff. Everyone have a great day!
11:30 john boy: enjoy, Cyn
11:30 allyn: YOU too Cyn
11:30 PJ: Thanks Cyn, have a good day
11:31 Cynthia E: I should be ready for you all to try Ensign later today for those ready....I'll post on here and send out an
email when the chart package is complete
11:33 allyn: bbl

afternoon....
15:44 Cynthia E: and would like to get started and loaded up on Ensign...
15:48 PJ: Now looks like the short is setting up, but, running out of time
15:49 PJ: Cyn I could test later tonight if that would help
15:49 Cynthia E: Yes, today it would definitely be too late to start a new trade.
15:50 Cynthia E: That would be great PJ....realistically...it will take 2 hours probably, if you have that much
time....because we'll need to have you download Ensign, subscribe to a data feed, connect Ensign to the data feed....then
download my package...
15:50 Cynthia E: Do you have that much time....if not, it's okay...
25
15:51 PJ: I'm not excatly techy, is it fairly simple?
15:52 Cynthia E: Yes, but it will seem complex to you....I'm planning to walk you through it over the phone....and take
notes for what we do so I can use your experience to build a training video on the process for the team...
15:53 PJ: Would 8:30 est be a good time to start?
15:54 Cynthia E: Possibly....have you decided which data feed you are going to use? eSignal or TraderBytes....the info
was on the Toolbox page on the website...
15:56 PJ: No, would you suggest one over the other?
15:57 Cynthia E: PJ...see PM

"Self trust is the first secret of success." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
9:32 Cynthia E: Morning PJ....on phone, but I'll be right back
9:32 PJ: Good Morning Cyn
9:34 TD: Good Morning PJ & Cynthia
9:35 PJ: Hi TD, guess everyone is expecting a quiet morning before the announcement
9:39 TD: I think that you are right PJ.
9:45 Cynthia E: Yep, I figure a quiet day all around, although it will be very interesting to see what happens on the Fed
Announcement during rollover.
9:45 Cynthia E: I never trade rollover day, and I never hold a position through the Fed, so I will likely focus on site work
today.
9:47 Cynthia E: I am still resolving my transition issue on my charts for the morning update also.
9:47 Cynthia E: Just as a heads up, I will be out tomorrow, as I have to take Pancho to the vet.
9:50 PJ: Will he be having an operation on his eye tomorrow?
9:51 Cynthia E: Yes, Most likely. It has been a while since he has been in for an exam, so that comes first, but we have
time scheduled for the surgery as well, and I'm fairly sure it will come to that....
9:52 PJ: That is an unfortunate thing to anticipate, hope everything goes well.
9:52 Cynthia E: It is probably for the best, the poor guy has been fighting this for a year now, it is an incurable
autoimmune disease, and he is in pain with it all the time. The removal will be something he has to adjust to, but the
moment he is out of surgery and recovers from the actual surgery he will be pain free.
9:53 TD: It will be hard w/ 1 less eye. But, being pain free is important.
9:54 PJ: He will most likely have more energy after the operation, pain is draining.
9:54 Cynthia E: And, it doesn't look too bad when they finish, he will have a prosthetic eye inserted and then the eyelid is
sewn closed over it....so it just looks like the eye is closed.....not like he has a hole there....
9:55 Cynthia E: Yes, it will be nice to know he can just go back to being a horse.....he needs that energy and
vitality.....I'm sure he is exhusted of me giving him shots in the vein, and cleaning the eye, and putting ointment in it 3-6
times a day.....I'm sure he just wants to run when he sees me coming....
10:00 Cynthia E: What do you all have for current price on the NEW contract....checking my Ninja Trader
10:01 PJ: 1436.75
10:01 PJ: now 1436.5
10:02 Cynthia E: that's the new month contract?
10:02 Cynthia E: DEC expiration?
10:02 PJ: Not sure, I just use /ES
10:03 Cynthia E: Okay....yep, that's the old one...I don't think TOS rolls it's master symbol over til tomorrow
10:04 PJ: what is they symbol for new contract?
27
10:04 PJ: *the
10:05 Cynthia E: I think it would be ESZ2.....but don't quote me on that...I use master symbol only also, hold on, I'll look
it up
10:08 Cynthia E: Yes, Z2 is correct. Z for December 2 for 2012
10:10 Cynthia E: It is always the month code then the number for the year....Months are H, M, U, Z for March, June,
Sept, Dec
10:11 PJ: 1430.75 for ESZ2
10:11 Cynthia E: Perfect...that's what I have too
10:33 PJ: Cyn, I was just talking to the fella that does our IT work and I spoke with Jeff last night concerning the Ensign
package and data feed.
10:35 PJ: There should be no problem at work and Jeff and I are willing to go ahead with it.
10:40 Cynthia E: Do you want to set up today then?
10:40 Cynthia E: Or does it need to be later this evening?
10:41 PJ: This afternoon about 1:30 or 2:00 would be best.
10:42 Cynthia E: That should work...is that Central?
10:42 PJ: Eastern
10:42 Cynthia E: So let's say 2 then because that will be 1 central
10:43 PJ: Sounds good, in preparation I guess I just have to call and subscribe to both.

11:11 Cynthia E: Sorry TD...trying to fix PJ's sound
11:12 TD: NP! :)
11:12 Cynthia E: so, now I'll Page you again PJ...
11:12 Cynthia E: Did you hear the page that time?
11:12 PJ: That was a chime sound
11:12 Cynthia E: Did you hear the page that time?
11:12 Cynthia E: Yep! Okay...it's working
11:13 Cynthia E: And when I PM you....you should hear yet another sound....
11:13 PJ: So if I don't want to hear sounds I would just remove the colon?
11:13 PJ: Sometimes at work it is not convenient to have the sounds.
11:13 Cynthia E: Yep....that way you only hear a sound when you are paged or PM'd
11:14 Cynthia E: Oh...and you'll hear a sound when I post charts too
11:14 Cynthia E: That is an easy way to test your sound though at any time....just put the colon in and see if every post is
giving you a sound....
11:15 PJ: Got it, seems to be working well.
11:15 Cynthia E: Great......

9:30 TD: Good Morning PJ!
9:30 PJ: Good Moring TD
9:31 TD: Good Luck w/Howard today and getting Ensign running.
9:32 PJ: Thanks I hope it goes better today.
9:33 PJ: Did you trade yesterday or are your rules the same as Cyn's
9:34 TD: I just made a few pts on a couple of quick trades. I did not stay in the marker for long. And I did not
participate in big move after Ben's announcement.
9:35 TD: FED days are usually too chaotic for me to trade. And we will seldom hear such a Bullish announcement as we
did yesterday.
9:37 PJ: Congrats on your trades. It was amazing how quickly the price was changing after the announcement!
9:39 TD: Well, Ben kind of said taht there will be unlimited money for years (which I learned after the market close).
Hence the strong bullish move. It spent the afternoon riding the 24 SMA. Was a safe trade in hindsight. But, most FED
days are much more up and down.
9:43 PJ: Where will the unlimited money come from? Wouldn't some see that as a negative?
9:46 PJ: Do you mean extension of low interest rates?
9:47 TD: Ben said that he will print money (QE3) specifically for mortgages this time. And yes many people have said
this is the wrong policy and will cause run away inflation in the future.
9:49 TD: Yes, he said that he will keep short term interests rate very low. But the QE3 will cause inflation. Oil jumped
to over $100 today. Gold up big and US dollar is much lower compared to EUR. The lower US dollar value inflates
prices here for oil, gas, food, etc.
9:52 TD: They releases inflation figures. Yesterday PPI was up 0/6% for the month (very high). But, they said that the
core was up only 0.2% when you take out gasoline which was the major cause of the PPI being so high. So, the the Core
PPI and Core CPI look low to OK. But, the stuff not included in calculating Core PPI and Core PPI is what we spend
most of our money on each week: food, gas, etc. All pretty funny.
9:52 TD: Yesterday PPI was up 0.6%
9:55 PJ: Doesn't seem like much of a band aid. Mortgage money will be available, but, every day living expenses will be
higher.
9:58 TD: Mortgage rates have been very low for some time. Lower rates will not help people who owe more than their
home is worth. It does not solve their problem. And yes, higher prices will at some point hurt most people.
10:00 PJ: Hopefully businesses will use some of their cash and start hiring.
10:03 TD: Businesses have had a lot of cash for a long time. They would rather pay OT than higher new employees.
They are uncertain of the economy and which direction we are going politically. Small businesses are more uncertain and
31
they do most of the hiring. And more money for mortgages via the FED does not help small businesses to grow or new
ones to get started.

10:12 john boy: I have been watching the u2 and z2 vol and z2 finally kicked ahead.
10:18 TD: JB are those the 2 different /ES contracts?
10:22 john boy: u2 was traded thru yesterday, the z2 is now the current, u2 has something left til expiration
10:22 TD: Thanks
10:23 PJ: Good Morning JB, sorry for the slow response I was on the phone.
10:24 john boy: on the trade tab with /es being loaded find a box that has a pull down and one of the choices is all, there
are currently 5 contracts available to trade
10:24 TD: Thanks JB

12:51 PJ: TD, Jayson just tried to help with getting Ensign up and running, but, there are some problems that must wait
until next week when a programmer is in to help.
12:51 TD: Thanks for the update. I know that they will get it figured out.

15:49 Cynthia E: Hey PJ....was just stepping in to check on you on the Ensign thing...
16:00 PJ: Hey Cyn, Sorry I wasn't paying attention.
16:00 PJ: How is Pancho?
16:00 Cynthia E: Hey, no problem...I was eating...lol
16:01 Cynthia E: Thanks for asking. He did not lose the eye today.....
16:01 PJ: Are you trying to save it or planning on a later date?
16:01 Cynthia E: The bad spot is something our vet doesn't see frequently, and we took pictures and they are being sent
to OSU vet school for analyzing...
16:02 Cynthia E: We thought it was progression of his current disease and that we'd lost the eye already, but the disease
has not progressed at all....this spot is a secondary issue....
16:02 Cynthia E: so no reschedule at this time :)
16:02 PJ: That is good news!
16:03 Cynthia E: Indeed. I'm thrilled...
16:03 Cynthia E: There is still hope
16:03 Cynthia E: How did you session with Jayson go? I read above that you need Howard's assistance
16:04 PJ: No progress. There is a problem that requires a programmer and he said no one is available until next week.
16:04 Cynthia E: That is weird...I really wonder what it is....I've never heard of anyone having a problem just getting the
basic download running
16:05 PJ: I'm just lucky lol
16:05 Cynthia E: Yes, you are the "special" one.....hehe
16:05 Cynthia E: Don't you feel special? LOL
16:06 PJ: Indeed, my family always thought so too

16:06 Cynthia E: On another unrelated but super exciting topic...I'm about to have a one-on-one on the phone with James
Dalton himself.....T- 10 minutes
16:06 Cynthia E: LOL
16:06 PJ: That is exciting.... I bet you have a long list of questions
16:07 Cynthia E: Yep....well I actually emailed in a big question at the beginning of the week and had a response in my
box when I got here this afternoon that he wants to run it down with me on the phone.... very cool! :)
16:08 Cynthia E: I should have some seriously increased profile insight if he clarifies my one big question I'm not
finding an answer to in the books or the DVDs
16:10 PJ: You have been studying hard. Enjoy your conversation.
16:10 TD: Just checking back. Good Luck Cynthia w/Dalton - that's exciting! Wishing you and PJ a wonderful
weekend!
16:10 Cynthia E: The question is Where is support and resistance relative to BALANCE and IMBALANCE? I heard that
"balance areas" have support/resistance on their 'edges' , like I'm often pointing out in the morning update......but the
books also say that single print areas are S/R.......so to me that is confusing....how can both Balance (consolidation) and
Imbalance (elogation) represent S/R?
16:10 PJ: You have a great weekend to TD, thanks again for sharing your wisdom!!
16:10 Cynthia E: You to TD! Have a great one! Yes....wish me a clear mind and a quick writing hand....lol
16:11 TD: Your are always welcome. Enjoy.
16:11 TD: Cyn, can you put it on speaker and record his information? You won't have to write and lose focus on what he
is saying
16:12 Cynthia E: I wish.....I have speaker but no good record....
16:13 Cynthia E: Wait...you know what.....I might have something.....I'm going to turn on my Camtasia....maybe it can
pick it up? Great idea TD
16:13 TD: Good Luck! He was patient on Peter's show. He will repeat if you ask.
16:13 TD: I thought you had a new recording device software program - Good Luck!
16:14 PJ: Yes Cyn, best of luck. We'll be waiting to hear.
16:14 TD: Turn the program on now and speak and see if it works.
16:14 Cynthia E: Thanks.....better run so I can make the call! Have a great weekend...
16:14 TD: You too. Have a good one PJ!
16:14 PJ: See you on Monday. Enjoy your weekend also.
16:15 Cynthia E: I know it records my voice...just don't know if it can pick up his on the other end of the phone....but will
put it on speaker
